In today’s Pokemon Presents, we get first look on a collaboration with the Pokemon Company and Tentsen. The game is called Pokemon Unite and it is Pokemon’s first Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game or “MOBA”.

But first, the announcement from the President and CEO of the Pokemon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, stating that their free to play puzzle game is released. Pokemon Cafe Mix is released today for Switch and Mobile devices.
This is the Pokemon Company’s first game that involves more than four simultaneously. The game involves two teams of five in a real-time team battle with each player choosing their pokemon character to fight and to collect wild pokemon.
The game map has 5 scoring goals for each team when the match begins. Object of the match is to score the most points. With this new game style, Unite Moves were introduced for the game. Unite Moves are compared to ultimate moves for each pokemon and can be used to turn a loss into a win.
Once the game is released, it would be Free-to-start for the Switch and Mobile devices and the game will be cross-platform played over these devices. Announcement of the games release to be announced for another day.
