Avicii (Tim Bergling), Hello There Games and Wired Productions were in collaboration to create and share the music of Avicii in a different avenue to his fans. AVICII Invector allows the player to journey through Avicii’s music across beautiful, different worlds.
Gameplay: For veteran rhythm game players, the game plays like a mixture of Harmonix’s Amplitude, Guitar Hero and Audio Surf. You control a spaceship and tap or hold the corresponding button to the beat. I prefer the sections when you are just flying in the world through rings. The game can be played solo or in a local multiplayer up to four players.
Replayability: For any rhythm game, the music is the main key factor for replayability. For fans of the rhythm games, its the music drives this gaming experience. With the great music selection of Avicii’s hits gets you into the game and you feel like you don’t wanna stop.
Music & Sound: The music is the main focus of this game. Again fans of EDM and Avicii will enjoy playing to the beats of each song. The complete soundtrack is composed of 25 Avicii hits and they all fit into this visual memorizing game.
Look & Feel: The game beautifully captures and pairs its futuristic visuals along the music. Parts in some songs, the UI disappears and you are left with controlling your ship through rings. In these moments its easy to get lost in the environment, as you’re not concentrating on tapping buttons, but flying in a world of futuristic utopia.
Lasting Impressions: With great visuals, great story about our female space heroine and music that compliments everything, makes this a must buy for any rhythm game fan.
