Monster Hunter World Iceborne is the massive expansion for Monster Hunter World. This expansion was released on September 6, 2019 (PS4, Xbox One) and January 9, 2020. As a member of the Fifth Fleet, you and the Research Commission continue their adventure of the New World into the depths of the newly discovered snowy tundra, Hoarfrost Reach.
Gameplay: With having 14 unique weapons, this gives the player 14 different ways to enjoy the game. Monster Hunter World Iceborne is a game you can play solo or in a party up to four players.
Replayability: Again with 14 unique weapons and the continuing additions of free and paid content for the player. Capcom has been adding content for their players as MHW Iceborne ages. And recently have synced the updates with PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Music and Sound: Each monster has their own unique roars and battle music. There’s nothing like hearing the battle music of any of the large monsters. The music soundtrack is done with a large concert orchestra and knowingly this is going to be in a long, hard fought fight.
Graphics/Controls: Large areas are beautifully designed and detailed. Large monsters all look mesmerizing and deadly. However, the game does not give much direction for the controls. It was up to the player to figure out the game and setup optimal settings.
Lasting Impressions: With added seasonal festivals, added new/variant of monsters and new weapons and armor, gives the player a lot of things to do to keep them fighting monsters in the new world
