Today’s Pokemon Presents was full of surprises. We sat down with the President and CEO of the Pokemon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, as he brings the newest apps and games from Pokemon. Pokemon fans were greeted with some interesting products. If you missed the direct, you can watch it below:
For little pokefans who have troubles with brushing their teeth, a brushing teeth assistant app, Pokemon Smile. In this Augmented Reality (AR) app, the player brushes their teeth while saving trapped pokemon from cavity causing bacteria. This app is available for free now on iOS and Android.
Those who want to run a cafe with the help from pokemon friends, Pokemon Cafe Mix. You play as a cafe owner where pokemon come and eat your tasty snacks. In this puzzle game, you complete each pokemon’s orders. You link the pokemon’s icon on this unique swiping and sworling puzzle. You can recruit pokemon to become staff in your cafe. Pokemon Cafe Mix will be free and will be released on Switch and smart devices.
One announcement that had myself screamed at the screen: New Pokemon Snap. This game announcement doesn’t need anymore explanation besides when is it coming out. However, in next week’s Pokemon Presents, we should expect to see more information on this N64 classic hit moving to the Switch.
In Pokemon Go, Pokemon Go Fest 2020 has been turned completely digital and accessible to everyone across the world. Coming out in the future, Mega Evolutions of pokemon will be available to Pokemon Go. Farfetch’d, the Galarian sword swinging bird pokemon has landed in Pokemon Go for trainers to capture and evolve to Sirfetch’d.
And announcement of Phase 1 of Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC: The Isle of Armor is released. This will bring more pokemon and more adventures for players to enjoy. There are also on-going events in Pokemon Sword and Shield to celebrate the release of the DLC The Isle of Armor.
