CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 release date of September 17, 2020, couldn’t come sooner. However, we’ll be getting news on this highly anticipated game.
The official Twitter teased an image with a date and the Tweet saying: “Get Ready”
This teaser would be one of many announcements from companies looking to give us gamers’ news and gameplay digitally. Since there is no information on what Night City Wire would be; but one can speculate that this would be CD PROJEKT RED’s digital showcase for the game. The date of June 11 falls on what would of been the last day of the cancelled 2020 E3 conference event. Plus this will be a year since Keanu Reeves surprised millions of gamers on that Microsoft E3 press conference and called us “breathtaking”.

As we wait until June for more information, we have been shown bits of the game including scenes of Johnny Silverhand (Keanu’s character) and the limited editions Xbox One cyberpunk styled X console and styled controller.
Gamers have marked on their calendars for June 11 and painfully wait to see and hear more of CD PROJEKT RED’s swan song for this generation of consoles. And one could hope that it would be “breathtaking”. More information on Cyberpunk 2077 can be found on the official website located here.
