Bloomberg Reporter Jason Schreier revealed Aspyr is the studio working on the rumored Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake. Schreier confirmed the news as a guest on the MinnMax Podcast on April 20, 2021. Aspyr is not a stranger with working on the Star Wars franchises as they have worked on porting the games: Star Wars Racer, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
No official announcement of the remake project has been announced. However, with an announcement cannot be too far off in the future.
