Monster Hunter Digital Event was shown today to give Monster Hunter players new information and updates for the games: Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

With Monster Hunter Stores 2: Wings of Ruin still scheduled for release on July 9, 2021. Below you can watch the newest story trailer for the game.
After the trailer, we are shown a gameplay mechanic called “The Rite of Channeling”. This mechanic allows the player to transfer a Monstie’s gene to another Monstie. You can transfer Elements and/or Attack Types and align them within same colour or pattern in a row. Any three in vertical, horizontal or diagonal will unlock abilities and develop Monsties no one else will have.

This time for Monster Hunter Rise, we are given the details for Version 3.0. Monster Hunter Rise v2.0.0 will be available on May 27. This update has the introduction of Crimson Glow Valstrax, a variant of the title monster from Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate‘s Valstrax. Apex version of Zinorge and a new ending quest (no spoliers). Also a number of free and paid DLC will be releasing on the same day.
